Okay, I got a new Gateway computer, which is running Windows Vista. I'm trying to transfer files from my old computer, which is running Windows XP, to the new one. I bought the Belkin Easy Transfer Cable, which supposedly just plugs into the USB ports on both computers, recognizes the connection, then lets you click what you want to transfer.

Not happening.

I downloaded all the software/drivers for the old computer and Vista already has its installation so it won't take anything new. Why isn't this working??

Does anyone know how to easily transfer files from an old computer to a new one? Any cables I can use otherwise? What do I do? ._.

How do you know when its okay to quit a job? Lately my boss (in her old age, perhaps?) Has turned into a total bitch. Her forgetfulness becomes my fault. She comes down on me about her own mistakes, which is very stressful and complicates my responsibilities. I plan a day off over a week ahead of time, and because she decides to set an appointment last-minutely on that particular day, she claims she didn’t know and its my fault. It’s clearly listed on every work related calendar this office has, and when I point that out, she just scoffs at me. She’s also started setting these new rules, which were never in effect when I started, due to her own screw ups. If one of us forgets them, she bitches and moans about how irresponsible we are.

Keep in mind, this woman has been saved from malpractice claims solely because of myself and my co-worker. She also agreed to hire me knowing and accepting the fact that I am in a transitional stage right now, needing flexibility so I can put my schooling first. Now she tries to give me a hard time when I’m unable to be here. I don’t know if she’s just got a bug up her butt that’ll eventually pass, or if this is going to become routine, but its been going on long enough to get me contemplating quitting. The only problem is I need a letter of recommendation from her for my law school entry. It’s really the only reason I’m still here, because lord knows it isn’t the pay. But is it worth it?? What do you do when your boss becomes an unreasonable tyrant (read: bitch and a bag of chips).

I've been coming and going and having crazy mood swings and I apologize to anyone who has had to deal with me as of late. I also appreciate anyone who has been kind enough to deal with me as of late. Trying to raise my own spirits, I suppose, I'm sending out Christmas cards and whatnot. I know I already have some of your addresses, but I might not, so just comment if you'd like some festive correspondence this year. :}

I had a most eventful weekend, hosted by the ever wonderful nikui in NY. I got to meet the coolest peoples ever! FORK YEAH!! I must thank cybermancy, manager-sama daisuke_yoshiki, the sexiest psycho ever , gurugururuu, my underwear wonder twin , nikkineko, and my undercover lover communist and fellow Floridian sakurakurakura for a most kick ass time.

I had a wonderful time, really. It was definitely one CRAZY weekend, but I was fortunate to get to meet all these great peoples and hope to do so again very soon.

Who is going to see D'espairs Ray live/s in the NY area? :D I'll be there, I actually got the ticket to fly up and all that stuff there. Short visit for me, Oct. 29 - Nov. 1, but I gotta work and go to school.

I'll be back up there though, hopefully in January. daisuke_yoshiki you need to get $13 and hop a subway or whatever to the show!

The Premiere Show is held at the O.C Convention Center in Orlando once a year, for industry professionals (cosmetologists, nail techs, aestheticians...) and the place was packed this time around. We could barely walk the first day! You're wondering "what's the appeal?" and it is...this!

I swear I thought I took more pictures then I did, but I spent most of Sunday prior to the concert hiking back and forth between the car and the con. I got there way earlier then I planned, but I couldn't determine how bad traffic would be since it rained the entire drive over. >.< splitpea and crew had not even arrived yet, but I did end up dozing off and slept for about an hour in my car. :X

I browsed the dealer's room for the most part, trying to decide if I'd buy stuff. My first go around the HOA table and I only bought fifthchildren the Lida cell phone strap thingy, since he is apparently the love of her life. :\ I also got my spiffy PLC VIP bag thing! That was actually cooler then I thought it would be. I got the Daishi and Yura figurines, since people have asked recently. ^^* Incidentally that little green plastic zipper bag thing makes an awesome make-up case!

When people weren't stopping me to giggle (Yes >.> literally) at my BASTARD t-shirt, I tried to take a few pics of cosplayers, so with that said, onto the pics!

So there you have it, it was my first con so go easy on me!
